Flavoria Innovation Festival 2024 goes Circular Economy!

Flavoria Innovation Festival 2024 digs deeper into the challenges of the food chain once again. This year, we are bringing a perspective of circular economy to the innovation week, and the Innovation Festival is organized in collaboration with the City of Turku.

Together, we aim to address current issues in the industry and create innovative solutions for challenges such as food production, distribution, and consumption.

We are now looking for company challenges! Both new and previously participating companies are welcome to join. You can get in touch even if your challenge is not yet entirely clear at this stage. This year, the aim is to pilot a new approach to company challenges, where the challenge doesn’t necessarily have to be narrowly defined. Instead, part of the students’ process will be to “empathize” with the company and embark on a research journey to understand the challenges and blind spots in a Design Thinking manner.

Last year’s innovation week was successfully held on November 13th–17th, 2023. A total of 45 students tackled with five different business challenges, representing over ten different study programs!
