Sustainable Innovations
for the Food Chain

VarsiFood-project operates in the region of Southwest Finland, promoting new innovations and sustainable development, as well as national and international connections of the food chain. The aim is to promote regional expertise in chosen focus points, building channels through which we can bring together businesses, researchers and students.

During the project, we will pilot a model through which we can identify innovators, promote collaboration between businesses and researchers operating in the food chain and support the creation and testing of new business models. In practice we organize workshops and morning coffee sessions to boost discussion. We will also host an Innovation Festival aimed at students, during which the teams will create solutions for challenges presented by companies. Under Innovation Tools you can find channels to develop business models or start entrepreneurship.
