Flavoria Innovation Festival is an engaging week-long event for students from different educational institutions and fields. The students work in interdisciplinary teams to solve real company challenges related to the food chain and sustainable development goals. Throughout the week, the development of innovative solutions is guided by the Design Sprint process, with expert mentors providing continuous support and guidance.

The event is part of the WiseFood project, carried out in collaboration with the City of Turku, Turku Vocational Institute, and the University of Turku. The goal of the WiseFood project is to strengthen the market for resource-efficiently produced and manufactured food products in the Turku region. The project aims to develop business ecosystems in line with circular economy principles in the food supply chain. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
